The song was released less than a year ago during the current pandemic, reasons been behind the delay is processing a music video. The video will be available by summertime as a way to celebrate the start of a great summer after the tough year a half that the UK has had. The song is a way to express how people use popular brands as a way to express their feelings towards their significant other.

Questions for the interview with artist:

What are your ideas for the video?

I plan to combine a slideshow of clips from different events that I have taken part in through the last year or two to show that although us as an economy has been through a pandemic - we only ever get 1 life and that we should live it to the fullest despite the circumstances. However, whilst I want to enjoy the life I have I still understand the safety aspect to all the actions I was carrying out- which is an example I want to set to the generation that supports and follows me within my music career. I also plan to shoot current clips of me and my family on some excursions in central and south London to embrace where I am came from and the amazing sides to London.

Planned to be shot around London- south and central

How long do you think it will take you to complete the music video?

Overall, I don't intend for it to take more than 6months to year to completely film and have put together the music video this is because I want to capture the reality side of my life and that takes a period o time in order to capture as well as participate in many activities. As well as this, it also takes time to produce a music video worthy to be shown to the world and uploaded to a public site for example YouTube. I believe it would take me longer to complete the video as I direct and illustrate the music video myself due to my enjoyment in music video production. I have been producing and making music videos myself since my sisters made their own YouTube channel and started needing help with editing their videos.

1. What made you want to get into the music industry in the first place?

In all honesty music wasn’t my first choice. From when i was younger I had a passion for dancing, I trained at Pineapple Studios, I took part in all the dance festivals in primary school and even studied dance, performing arts and dance as an A-Level. However, my safe-haven was always music and although I favour a lot of artists who are very well-known for example Drake, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar etc I always believed that something was missing for me to relate on a greater level therefore I started writing my own music and using my friends beats to make it come to life even more. Eventually, my main focus became my music and i believe I wouldn't of gotten to that stage if it wasn't for my passion in dance i dont believe music would of become an importance in my life.

Do you have an end goal for the video?

Who is going to help with the process of the music video?

Beyonce Music Videos

In the music video of Beyoncé's song 'Already ft. Major Lazer' is set in the environment of a black country and culture. This is evident due to the style of clothes she is wearing throughout the whole video which consists of animal print clothing, painted clothing which is often found in West Indian tribes and an outfit made entirely of gold. the style of the movie is a storytelling narrative as it is not constantly focused on her the entire video. There are clips of the other participants dancing and just being natural in their own atmosphere, I believe this is to tell the story of what black cultures are like as well as enforcing history. Because in the past stories were told through dance instead of talking or from books. As well as the video being a storytelling narrative, the lyrics within  the song itself also embed great power behind what Beyoncé is trying to express through her video and the song as well. One main key term which is easily picked up in the video is t...
